Andrea Long utilized her passion to help individuals remember their loved ones. Andrea and her team created shawls and delivered them to Indiana Organ Procurement Organization to be shared with families whose loved ones saved lives through organ donation. Andrea wanted to share compassion with individuals in her community as they grieved. The shawls were a gentle reminder of the gift of life their loved one provided to an individual in need. Money provided by the Difference Maker Fund helped the team purchase yarn. They were able to provide 35 shawls to families.
