Kaleann Waterman hosted a community painting party to fundraise for March of Dimes. As a mother of four and someone who states she has benefited from the research done by March of Dimes, Kaleann felt personally motivated to contribute to the mission of the nonprofit organization. Kaleann called on the help of Royal Neighbors and applied for Difference Maker Fund which helped cover the artist fee, so all donations received from event attendees could be donated directly to the cause. The event attendees had a great time creating art to take home and donating to an organization that is close to their hearts. With the help of five volunteers, Kaleann’s project raised $275 for March of Dimes – the total of all the Chapter’s March fundraising efforts resulted in more than $2,700!
