This Spring, there are many ways you can impact young lives and show appreciation to the teachers in your community.
By utilizing our Difference Maker Fund (DMF), you could supply lunch to your child’s/grandchild’s teaching
staff, fulfill a teachers classroom wish-list, or surprise teachers with thank you treats.
The last few years have been exceptionally difficult on our teachers, and we want to help you bring a smile to their faces. Below are a
few ideas to help kickstart your project planning:
Project Idea | Project Plans |
Provide Lunch | Coordinate with a few other school families. A few families each make a lasagna, someone provides garlic bread, and another makes a big salad. Contact the school to determine the best date/time to deliver. Extra Credit: have your students create cards to show their appreciation too! |
Fulfill a Wish-list | Contact your student’s teacher to see what classroom supplies they need most. Use funds from the DMF program to shop for these items and deliver them to the teacher. Make sure to involve your entire family in this activity. Extra Credit: Ask community members to purchase items too! |
Thank You Treats | Who doesn’t love heading into spring break with a special treat? Coordinate with a local ice cream, coffee, or donut shop to have treats delivered to the teachers before they leave for spring break. Extra Credit: Ask the local shop if they will give a discount to maximize your gift. |
We can help you make these projects a reality. If approved, the Royal Neighbors Difference Maker Fund will provide $200 in seed money to help you make a positive social impact in your community.
