Linda used her Difference Maker Fund to purchase Bingo prizes at Costco. She shared what happened after the Bingo event, “A
week later, I saw a woman wearing one of the flannel shirts. I mentioned that the shirt looked pretty. She smiled ear-to-ear and said she won it at Bingo. I hadn’t seen that resident smile before. She was so proud of her new shirt.”

Project Title: Lawn Sharks!
Candace and her friends and family helped neighborhood seniors clean up and maintain their yards. Candace used her Difference
Maker Fund to purchase lawn bags, gloves, rakes, shovels, and gas for the lawnmower. Her team not only helped local seniors, they also spruced up their neighborhood.

Project Title: Fitness Class Supplies
Cilla partnered with the Center for Active Seniors, Inc. (CASI) and purchased balls, bands, and weights for CASI’s
fitness classes. CASI has at the heart of its mission to support health and wellness for seniors in the community. Cilla’s fitness equipment helps support more than 20 fitness classes held per week.

Project Title: : Valentine’s Day at a Nursing Home
Shelley brought smiles and some Valentine’s Day love to a local nursing home. She used her Difference Maker Fund to provide residents
with Valentine’s candy and pizza.

Project Title: Gardens for Seniors
Residents helped plant and take care of the flowers Cheryl bought with her Difference Maker Funds. Residents enjoyed the plants for months after.
