Project Title:Quilts of Valor and Wellness for Warriors Mental Health Program
Carol applied for the Difference Maker Fund to purchase quilt making
supplies for her quilt guild. They made Quilts of Valor to honor veterans at a special ceremony.
Rose also used her Difference Maker Fund to create quilts for veterans. The quilts were placed on the beds of veterans being admitted to Cox
Hospital in Branson, Missouri.

Project Title: Meals in a Jar
Nearly 250 veterans live in Bryan’s community. With the help of family and friends, Bryan prepared and delivered ready-made meals
to his county veterans’ office. The meals were distributed to veterans in need.

Project Title: Socks & T-shirts for Veterans
Tricia partnered with the McNair-Trueheart VFW Post 622 to purchase and collect socks and t-shirts for Veterans
at the Central Virginia Veterans Hospital as well as homeless veterans, helping to make sure veterans had these basics for the winter months.

Project Title: Memorial Day Lunch and Honoring Veterans
Carol’s Difference Maker Fund went to fixing and serving a free Memorial Day
lunch to veterans in her community.
Lance also honored veterans on Memorial Day with a breakfast, program, and memorial service. They even had a band, and more than 200 people attended to show their support and gratitude for the veterans’
service.

Sharon brought smiles to veterans at Halloween with her Difference Maker Fund. She made more than 400 treats for veterans living
in her local veterans’ home.
