2025 Scholarship Program Supports Future Leaders Across the Country

Rock Island, Ill. (June 15, 2025) – Royal Neighbors of America, one of the nation’s fastest growing fraternal life insurance organizations1 based in Rock Island, Ill., has proudly awarded 35 college scholarships to student members nationwide as part of its longstanding commitment to provide Insurance with a Difference℠. Since the program’s inception in 1961, Royal Neighbors has awarded more than $5 million in educational funding to support the next generation of leaders.

Each recipient received a $2,500 scholarship in recognition of their academic achievement, leadership, volunteer service, and commitment to creating positive change in their communities.

“This scholarship means more than financial support—it’s a symbol of belief in our ability to make a difference,” said Graci Tubbs, one of the scholarship recipients who is completing her degree at Florida Atlantic University. “Royal Neighbors encourages us to dream big, give back, and be bold enough to lead change in our communities.”

Applicants were selected through a competitive process that includes personal essays on leadership, community service, and a current social issue. The program emphasizes purpose-driven education and real-world impact, aligning with Royal Neighbors’ core mission.

“Our members are role models in their communities, and our scholarship program helps lift their aspirations,” said Amy Jones, Senior Director of Social Impact at Royal Neighbors. “By investing in their education, we’re investing in a future shaped by compassion, resilience, and social good.”

Now in its 64th year, the scholarship program continues to reflect Royal Neighbors’ unique mission to insure lives, support women, and serve communities℠. Eligibility is open to beneficial members who demonstrate leadership potential, academic achievement, and a passion for service.

“As an organization founded by women who believed in access and opportunity, we’re proud to support students who embody the values of leadership and service,” said Zarifa Reynolds, Royal Neighbors CEO and President. “Congratulations to all 35 recipients—you inspire us with your vision and impact.”
